This song was written for Jhene's brother Miyagi who has recently lost his fight with cancer at the age of 26. This is what she had to say about the song:

I wrote and recorded this myself on my lap top, for my brother…. Miyagi . this song was really just intended for him to hear….. but i thought it would be nice to share ….
i was so nervous to play it for him myself, so when i left to San Francisco on Thursday I had my TT play it for him….
She said his breath got calm as he listened and i know he heard every word ….
later that night he became the angel he was born to be and i am so grateful that he got to hear this before he left on his infinite journey….
now i hear him telling ME , what i was singing to him… to not give up .

i love you SO much Miyagi!!!! . Everything x2 now. Everything for you now ….

This song is amazing. We at Bam vs Media would like to send our prayers to the family during this time.

Here is a Snippet of a new song from Ciara called "Overdose" Now unlike some i liked her first offering "Sweat" but i think this one will be more radio friendly since everybody is leaning to the pop/dance sound right now. It gives me a nice feel good vibe when i hear it. I just hope she doesn't throw a rapper on it and mess it up like with 2 chainz

I love it because its simplistic and shows off how Beautiful Tamia is. I already know it is gonna be the truth because Tamia's voice is the business no matter what she sings. The album will be out 8/28 so save the date

Told y'all it has been a good week for Bam vs Media. Here is an interview that was with Actor, Artist, Dancer, and a all around positive person by the name of Tristan D. Lalla. Below are the questions from our interview where I can say he was very open with his answers. Many of you may know him as Manny from the movie "How She Moves" but many of you may not know he was the voice in plenty of the video games that we play today. The first answer pulled me in with me being a person who had/has  speech impediment (Stutter) and how he didn't let it defeat him.  Lets Get into the Interview

BVM: WHAT MADE YOU WANT TO BE A ACTOR?

TDLalla: When I was a child I had a pretty severe speech impediment, & I couldn't really speak "normally" until I was around 7 or 8 years old. As time went on, I learned to break through the barrier that was holding me back from tapping into my potential. With diligence & lots of support & tough love from my family, I overcame that obstacle. In my teens I was involved with all different types of performance (dancing, painting, drawing, etc..) but it's when I got into public speaking that I realized how I could combine my love of the arts & my new found ability to (truly) use my voice. It should be said also that I come from a very unique family. There have always been a mix of musicians, artists, & out-spoken people of various disciplines in my family. My Grandfather was Rudolph Charles. Google him.

BVM: WHO DO YOU ENJOY WORKING WITH THE MOST?

TDLalla: Artists who are open & ready. Who are in the moment. Who see the bigger picture, as well as the small details. Creators. Those who have drive & ambition, and put things into action. Who take their work very seriously, but don't take themselves too seriously.

BVM: HOW MUCH DO YOU DRAW ON YOUR OWN EXPERIENCE WHEN YOU ACT?

TDLalla: It is impossible to 'act outside of your self'. Meaning, any character that I play, there will always be some of Me in there. Depending on what the specific role calls for (in terms of emotion, physical appearance, etc...) things can vary, but in the end my personal experiences as a person are what spark choices I make as an actor.

BVM:  IF YOU COULD STAR IN A RE-MAKE OF A CLASSIC FILM, WHO WOULD YOU

WANT TO PLAY?

TDLalla: Not a huge fan of re-makes, but they decided to have me star in some new "House Party" movies (Kid & Play), I'd be all over that.

BVM: HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT NUDE SCENES?

TDLalla: I enjoy watching them. >_<

BVM:  DO YOU THINK THERE'S TOO MUCH VIOLENCE IN TV AND MOVIES?

TDLalla: Yes. Especially towards young women. Any given night you can tun on the TV and see several police/hospital shows showing the corpse of some young girl who went to a random party, got drugged & violated... And these shows do this All The Time. As if it's normal. Our society definitely has a craving for violence & gore, (and in some TV shows/movies it's called for, don't get me wrong) but I think we can be more original than consistently showing people subliminally how to be a victim.

BVM: WHAT WORK ARE YOU MOST PROUD OF?

TDLalla: I recently co-starred in "RACE" by David Mamet. Without a doubt it was the most challenging project to date. Huge success, huge learning experience. Look up the play. Everyone should read/see it at some point.

BVM: WAS IT HARD LEARNING THE ROUTINES IN "HOW SHE MOVES"?

TDLalla: It was hard, yeah, but it was more fun than anything. Our Choreographer was Hi-Hat (Missy Elliott, Mary J. Blige, Justin Beiber), & her assitants were Dante Corde, & Troy Kirby. All world renown choreographers who have been working with some of the top entertainers in the game for a long, long time. I had a dance background previous to shooting "How She Move" so I was able to keep up with the Real dancers pretty well. We rehearsed for a month, 6 days a week, 10 hours a day. Oh, & I broke my right thumb the first hour of the very first rehearsal trying to do a flip, so the entire time I had a cast on my right hand, while stepping/dancing. Yeah. Insane.

BVM: IS THERE ANYTHING YOU'D DONE THAT YOU'D LIKE TO BURN ALL THE COPIES

OF?

TDLalla: No.

BVM:  WHEN A SCENE CALLS FOR YOU TO DISPLAY HATRED, WHAT DO YOU THINK

ABOUT?

TDLalla: Hatred comes from a place of wanting to protect your vulnerability. Putting a shield over your heart. So depending on that specific role, I put my self in the circumstances that would make my character feel that he needed to put up that shield & defend himself.

BVM: WHAT WAS YOUR MOST CHALLENGING ROLE?

TDLalla: Either Othello (in Othello), Henry Brown, attorney at law (in "Race"), or Big Man Manny ("How She Move")

BVM: HOW DID YOU GET INTO DOING VOICES FOR VIDEO GAMES?

TDLalla: Like every gig, by auditioning. I've been really lucky to have been able to work on so many wicked video games (Prince Of Persia, Fary Cry 2, Deus Ex Human Revolution, T.E.R.A. The Exiled Realm of Arborea, From Dust... and I'm currently working with Ubisoft once again on the latest Assassin's Creed video game which comes out in October 2012).

Coming soon:

the feature film Happy Slapping (One Man Band Films),

the feature film Misogyny/Misandry (1st of July Films), Misogyny/Misandry

Cubed (a new web series),

the world premiere of "The Mahalia Jackson Musical" at the Segal Centre for the Performing Arts,

and a lead role in Ubisoft's highly anticipated video game Assassin's Creed 3 Liberation.

This has been a really good week for me and Bam vs Media. One of the reasons is i got to do a interview with one of my new favorite artists which goes by the name of Justin Garner. Below is the quick question i got to ask which lets you learn more about him as a person and as an artist. Also Make sure you get his latest Project I AM which drops tomorrow on Itunes and Amazon.

BVM: WHAT'S THE FIRST SONG YOU EVER REMEMBER HEARING?

JG: Hmmm let me think. The first song I remember paying attention to as a child was “Sail On” by The Commodores.

BVM: WHAT ARE YOU LISTENING TO LATELY?

JG: I’ve been listening to the Civil Wars, Lana Del Rey, Chris Brown, The Arrows, Maroon 5, and Kanye.

BVM: WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE ALBUM BY ANOTHER ARTIST?

JG: Easy. I have two though. Confessions by Usher and Rocksteady by No Doubt.

BVM: HAVE YOU EVER BEEN COMPARED TO ANY OTHER MALE VOCALISTS?

JG: YES! I get compared to Usher, Jason Derulo, Chris Brown, and Trey Songz. Not mad at all about being compared to some of the best voices in the game. With my new album I Am, I want people to get to know me and who I am personally and vocally.

BVM: WHAT CAN PEOPLE EXPECT AT YOUR LIVE SHOWS?

JG: People can expect a great live show with dancers, backing band, and then some intimate selections with just me and a piano or guitar. I was raised in the Baptist church so I’m no stranger to live singing and I’m very passionate about making sure attendees can feel every emotion I’m feeling.

BVM: WHAT SONG DO YOU LOVE TO PERFORM THE MOST AND WHY?

JG: The song that I love to perform the most is “Boomerang”. “Boomerang” is a very personal song to me and it came from a very vulnerable place when I wrote it. I’ve been all around the world, Los Angeles, Tokyo, London, New York, etc. and every time I left my mind was on music and business, but my heart was with that special lady.

BVM: WHAT SONG IS YOUR FAVORITE ON YOUR NEWEST PROJECT "I AM"?

JG: My favorite record on I Am is “Assassin”. I love it because it’s so different for me. Writing wise, vocally, and concept wise. It’s my first big concept record and focuses on an issue I’ve never tackled before.

BVM: HOW HAVE YOU MATURED AS AN ARTIST?

JG: I Am begins with “Cherry Bomb” first for a reason. I want people to listen to the record that got me noticed and take a musical journey to the last song so that you can hear the growth in my artistry. I know my lane. I know my sound. And I care about every fan, supporter, photo shoot, album/single art modification, outfit, beat production choice, etc. I am very hands on with everything that I do. I think the biggest misconception is that there are like 15 people writing my songs, telling me what to sound like, how to speak and act, but is not like that at all. It is solely me and a small team of some the hardest working people I know. #TeamJG

BVM: HAVE YOU EVER WRITTEN ANYTHING AND THEN
DECIDED IT WAS TOO HARSH?

JG: Not really. I believe in what is expressed the first go round shouldn’t be modified. Music is all about expression. “Disintegrate” from my first self-released album Take It from Here, is actually about my ex. I thought after recording it, “Too harsh?” Naw *laughs*.

BVM: WHAT FEELINGS INSPIRED YOU TO WRITE PAPER HEART?

JG: Breaking up with the love of your life, knowing it’s your fault, and understanding there is nothing that can be done to fix it. That’s what led to “Paper Heart”.

BVM: HOW CAN YOUR FANS KEEP UP WITH YOU AND UPCOMING EVENTS?

JG: My fans can keep up with me at http://www.justingarner.com! And on twitter @JustinGarner! Facebook as well http://facebook.com/officialjustingarner! I always retweet, reply, and respond so please by all means drop me a line!

BVM: WHAT'S NEXT FOR YOU?

JG: I’ll be in NYC in a few weeks for another huge meeting. Fans can expect to see some music videos on the way Amazon.com featured me as an Amazon.com: Artist on the rise, and IndabaMusic.com and iTunes Japan have recently featured me on their sites. So what’s next…the takeover! #JGArmy

Once again I would like to thank Justin Garner for doing a interview with Bam Vs Media and also dropping off the new "I Am" album to us. The entire project knocks from start to finish and really does show his growth as an artist. I would def recommend listening to Unbreakable (stripped) the vocal arrangement is sick. And one more thing unlike most artist JG does respond to his fans on twitter so feel free to hit him up

Nothing else to say except they killed this

So we over here heard it was a fight video going around so we checked it out and its a head scratch-er. Something about it doesn't seem right. so we did a little digging and this is what we came up with so far. Check the vid below first..

40 had this to say tho which makes me question the video now

Then posted this pic after getting jumped. Guess they wasn't swinging that hard

After Fight Pic

According to 40 he got jumped and dudes had guns aimed at him if he swung back.. I don't know about yall but that sounds like a good reason not swing back plus you can hear him say that in the vid

One of Maher’s complaints about President Obama is, apparently, that he’s not aggressive enough as President. Fair enough – that’s a common complaint among liberals. However, Maher phrases this complaint in a (to put it charitably) risque way – specifically, by complaining that Obama doesn’t act enough like a stereotypical scary black man, instead acting more like a “Wayne Brady” figure. Never mind that these are both stereotypes, and that if any of Obama’s conservative critics said this, they’d be vilified to the ends of the earth. Right now, that‘s the least of Maher’s problems.

Now Wayne Brady has heard it and has chose to respond. Check out what he has to say in response

This had me laughing yo. When he said "and Fancy who also happened to be named Tyrique at one point." he did his homework lol
