Brandy speaks on Love,Music, and Kim Kardashian

Love that she is happy and that we are getting a pure vocal album in May from B rocka. And she made sure to kill the rumors about her not wanting to be around kim K during the shooting of the tyler perry movie.. Here is what she had to say:

I never saw Kim because we didn’t have any scenes together. Not because I cleared the way for her not to be around me but honestly I can just take this moment and say I really miss my friendship with Kim, I really do. I can’t wait to see her at the premiere and try to say something to her; tell her I love her and I’m here whenever she needs me.

In regards to her rapping career she has this to say:

It was a hobby; I was convinced to do it professionally, which I never should have listened to that advice.
Glad she decided to stop the Bran Nu era because she is 100% better as a vocalist. Can't wait to hear the album and I'm pretty sure the big homie TC will have a record or two on the project.

Artist to look out for: Jasmyne Hinson

The “entertainer bug” bit Jasmyne at the age of 2 when she sang her first solo in church. A couple years later, she was enrolled in performing arts school where the seed of her stage presence was planted. At the age of 15 the cultivation of her studio experience began at PARC studios with her first manager Dexter Redding, the son of the late Otis Redding. Throughout her high school years Jasmyne began to work with a diverse group of producers, engineers and writers. Honing in on her niche as an artist, most of her free time was spent in the studio. While adapting to their styles of working she added to her work ethic and accuracy in the studio. Upon graduating from high school she spent her undergraduate years as a Theater major learning and exploring the worlds of jazz and musical theatre. She then began singing professionally with a myriad of artists, bands and musicians. It was quite clear that Jasmyne Hinson is much more than a session singer or just a staple in the choir stand.

Too Good at Goodbyes - Sam Smith (cover by @MattBloyd)

When ya new favorite voice covers one of ya favorite voices!!!! Thats exactly what happened when Matt Bloyd chose to cover Sam Smith's new song "Too Good At Goodbyes" it feels a lot warmer then the original that haunts us when Sam sings it. We love how Matt put his own  twist on it and showed off that killer range that made us a fan from the  first day we heard him. Here is what Matt had to say about choosing the cover I am a huge fan of Sam Smith's voice and his artistry. After a two year hiatus, Sam is back with "Too Good at Goodbyes" and I could not be more excited. He's truly an inspiration. When I heard this song I KNEW I had to cover it and got right on it. Hope you love my take on this JAM.
