Body found in Schuylkill River

A woman's body was found Monday afternoon in the Schuylkill River Monday near where a car driven by a woman plunged into the water Thursday, authorities said.

At 3:44 p.m., a medic unit responded to a report of a person in the river near Hunting Park Avenue and Kelly Drive, south of where the woman driving the car disappeared. The medic unit confirmed that a dead person was in the river.

Officer Tanya Little said that the police Marine Unit will recover the body. The Medical Examiner's Office will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death and identify the person. Little said the woman appeared to be in her 30s or 40s.

On Thursday afternoon, a 2008 Mercury Grand Marquis moving south on Ferry Road crossed Kelly Drive at a high rate of speed slammed through the wall and crashed into the river.
A few seconds later, witnesses saw a woman in the river, screaming for help as the current carried her downriver before she disappeared, police said. The car was pulled from the river that night. The woman has been missing since the accident.

Artist to look out for: Jasmyne Hinson

The “entertainer bug” bit Jasmyne at the age of 2 when she sang her first solo in church. A couple years later, she was enrolled in performing arts school where the seed of her stage presence was planted. At the age of 15 the cultivation of her studio experience began at PARC studios with her first manager Dexter Redding, the son of the late Otis Redding. Throughout her high school years Jasmyne began to work with a diverse group of producers, engineers and writers. Honing in on her niche as an artist, most of her free time was spent in the studio. While adapting to their styles of working she added to her work ethic and accuracy in the studio. Upon graduating from high school she spent her undergraduate years as a Theater major learning and exploring the worlds of jazz and musical theatre. She then began singing professionally with a myriad of artists, bands and musicians. It was quite clear that Jasmyne Hinson is much more than a session singer or just a staple in the choir stand.

Too Good at Goodbyes - Sam Smith (cover by @MattBloyd)

When ya new favorite voice covers one of ya favorite voices!!!! Thats exactly what happened when Matt Bloyd chose to cover Sam Smith's new song "Too Good At Goodbyes" it feels a lot warmer then the original that haunts us when Sam sings it. We love how Matt put his own  twist on it and showed off that killer range that made us a fan from the  first day we heard him. Here is what Matt had to say about choosing the cover I am a huge fan of Sam Smith's voice and his artistry. After a two year hiatus, Sam is back with "Too Good at Goodbyes" and I could not be more excited. He's truly an inspiration. When I heard this song I KNEW I had to cover it and got right on it. Hope you love my take on this JAM.
