We at BVM love hearing from new artists (new to us) cause its always a breathe of fresh air.. We can now add the artist/song writer/producer Syer to our list of artist to look out for. Lets give you a little background before we get to the music.
Who Is Syer?
First Off I am a Rapper who have been at it for about 10 years. I have released numerous mixtapes and recent put out an album "Diary Of A Mad Man", which is available everywhere digitally. I pride myself in lyrics and story telling but am also open to create all kinds of music. I have performed all over New York and opened up for Fred Da Godson. Who Produces your music?
I produce everything that I do, I am also the in-house producer for my group "The Street Officials". I produced "Road To Perdition" for Ransom on his "Pain And Glory" Album along with various up and coming artist. Podcaster???
New Music from June's Diary and its for the Grown and Sexy.. The "I Know Why You Calling" track is a flashback to the 90's R&b that I have been missing lately. I think everybody has a contact in their phone that they could say this to...(or a couple for some of you lmao)
This is a group that deserves all the exposure they are getting because these ladies can flat out SANG
If you need further proof just listen to this and let your ears be blessed
When ya new favorite voice covers one of ya favorite voices!!!! Thats exactly what happened when Matt Bloyd chose to cover Sam Smith's new song "Too Good At Goodbyes" it feels a lot warmer then the original that haunts us when Sam sings it. We love how Matt put his own twist on it and showed off that killer range that made us a fan from the first day we heard him.
Here is what Matt had to say about choosing the cover
I am a huge fan of Sam Smith's voice and his artistry. After a two year hiatus, Sam is back with "Too Good at Goodbyes" and I could not be more excited. He's truly an inspiration. When I heard this song I KNEW I had to cover it and got right on it. Hope you love my take on this JAM.
