Spotlight artist of the week

Antonio Leaks was born on May 19th, 1988 in Sacramento, California to both parents with substantial artistic backgrounds. His mother was a visionary, his father an actor. Both instilled in him at a young age, the significance of expressing himself. Influenced by artists such as Melvin Van Peebles, Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco, MF Doom, and Little Brother, Leaks never limited himself, but rather pushed himself to think outside the box.

Acting at a very young age, he realized his love for being on stage. Leaks found it entertaining to portray a completely different character then his own. This eventually led to his interest in becoming a film maker. His love for movies and film inspired him to produce them to convey his view of the world. He joined the DreamCatcher Films team, while attending Lincoln University (PA), when he saw that the individuals involved shared his vision.

Music was just one of his many outlets as well. Ever since listening to the track “I Wish” by Californian artist, Skee-Lo, he was inspired to write rhymes. Coming from a multicultural background, Leaks draws from his diverse experiences to discuss subjects with a style that some would consider unconventional. Since performing under the stage name “TonE”, he formed a group with his high school friend, “J. Good”, called “The Worthy Adversaries.” After networking with more artists in the Sacramento area, Leaks helped create a networking alliance called “The Usual Suspects” which attracts numerous rappers, singers, and DJs. TonE’s solo composition, to be titled “The Five Dollar Mic Sessions,” was released in the summer of 2009. With a strong faith in God, he manages to produce quality work in various fields.

WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Before ya think this is a bash blog let me set it straight that its not. Im sure ya seen this picture buzzing around the net right now wit alot of contoversy around it. In the pic is chris brown and Jean Paul Gaultier (makeup did that to his face not chris) Below im going to post the other pics from Fashion Week and shine some light on the story that somebody trying to dim *clears throat *(Sandra rose). Truth is Gaultier’s fashion show was heavily influenced by boxing.

Sources say, Jean Paul Gaultier take on this present runway show included boxing gloves, bloodied models and a ring instead of a runway. The models who showcased turtlenecks, face masks, and leather also exchanged punches for the photographers, with Gaultier capping off the show. Mr Gaultier later on took photos with guests including Chris Brown not knowing that the pic would burn through the media like wildfire. I think that was a dope concept for a show actually. Now the pants I aint gone front i would rock em to a event or something but not on a regular day lol.. So I end this blog with a "keep steezing on these heathens" (in my cb voice) lol

A music video for Timbaland's latest single "If We Ever Meet Again" has finally been released, exposing in full Katy Perry's sexy cameo appearance.

Directed by Paul "Coy" Allen, the music video sees 25-year-old Katy sporting a sexy look with her skimpy black outfit which she completed with high-high black boots, while 38-year-old Timbaland is wrapped in dark-colored overcoat. It picks up the story of a woman who is being suspected of a burglary.

Talking to MTV about the video's concept, Timbaland had stated that he wanted to make a serious one. I wanna make something deep, I don't know if I wanna make it like a relationship," he explained. "I wanna make it like she saved my life with whatever depression I was going through, whether it be drug depression, weight-loss depression - something. ... Will she be around if I go through this again?"

My movie reviewers Laney response to The Book of Eli:

I know it seems pretty harsh considering I’m neither for nor against any type of movie. However, after watching this I find myself wondering why I didn’t watch it online. It wasn’t a bad movie on the part of the action (whenever there was action) and the idea the Hughes Brothers was going for original but it kind of fell through. The acting I felt was good you could believe some of the characters. What really did the movie in was the story. It was full of too many holes for me. It left you asking questions and not in a good way. When I leave a movie I don’t want to be left asking questions that should have been provided. For example, when did the blast happen? I mean you know that obviously it didn’t happen in the 90’s since there where Dre headphones. (Might I add that looked a little to clean to be from the end of the world headphones) They never answered when it all happened except to say 30 years ago. Thanks that’s really helpful. At least in Resident Evil movies you get a better understanding of what year it happened and why it happened. My post for this movie will be short b/c the movie for me was short lived. I’m proud that my boyfriend didn’t fall asleep so that must have meant there was something to at least keep your action but if you’re expecting more don’t. Expect to see the movie get to see Denzel kick some major but and take names. Expect to see people going crazy to get a Bible. Expect to see how the world could be. BUT do not expect to leave the theaters truly happy….so in all bootleg it.

Tiger Woods is reportedly considering to donate USD 3 million for the victims of the calamitous earthquake that rocked Haiti.

Woods wanted to send medical supplies to the earthquake devastated Caribbean nation, said Hip-hop mogul Russell Simons.

"Tiger Woods is working on sending a mobile hospital with 50 EMTs to go set up a triage," Simmons was quoted as saying by the New York Daily News.

The earthquake, so far, has left between 40,000 - 50,000 people dead and about 300,000 homeless.

Meanwhile, US President Barack Obama said Woods can "absolutely" get back on track.

"I don't want to comment on his personal relationship with his wife and family, but I am a strong believer that anybody can look within themselves, find their flaws and fix them," Obama told People magazine.

Notably, Woods had disappeared from public life after a scandal which revealed a series of his extramarital affairs.

Rihanna has opened up about her doomed relationship with Chris Brown. She has revealed that the R&B singer was ‘controlling and insecure’. The couple split last year after Brown viciously attacked her after a pre-Grammy Awards party in Los Angeles in February. Brown later insisted he was ‘shocked’ by his violent behaviour because he was "never that kind of person" - but Rihanna has now hinted there were signs the couple''s relationship could descend into abuse. “There were control issues, insecurity. When people are insecure they become very controlling and they can get very aggressive and in turn abusive,” Herald Sun quoted Rihanna as telling W magazine.

Word on the net is, Usher Raymond, 31, and a male friend were in his GMC Yukon on Dec. 14 when they pulled up to an AT&T store near Lenox Mall and went inside. (sources say that usher was patronizing a working in the AT&T store.) When they returned to the vehicle they found that it had been broken into.

The singer said more than a million dollars worth of jewelry was stolen along with $50,000 in furs and about $20,000 cash. there is also two laptops that contained a few never-before-heard tunes that he's been working on.

A witness said they saw a Chevy Impala with tinted windows drive up next to the SUV.

The witness told police a man got out of the Impala and popped open the door to the SUV.
The incident is still being investigated.

Bam Commentary: I'm sorry but if this was a real robbery i feel bad Usher. But i mean come on son...who carries all that in a truck and doesnt put the alarm on it? If ya didnt catch my 1st blog telling ya to come you missed a hell of a show. I The whole concept of the show was based around the 4 elements Earth,water,wind,fire...But it didnt end there because they unleashed a 5th element last night also.It opened with mother nature explaining the elements with some quick chair choreo: (bare wit me this is footage from my iphone 3g..camera died)

They killed it. following that was a little commentary by the host an few cash prize giveaways. Following that was the Earth scene which was brought in wit the day26 song so good...(my footage got corrupted on the transfer..but i'll update when i get more footage)but i got these 2 snapshots

Following that was the Water scene . Which was a dope scene as well. (my footage got corrupted on the transfer..but i'll update when i get more footage)but i did get this 1 snapshot.

Following that was some more prize giveaways and the wind and fire scenes. (will have to get more footage of that also)

The 5th element was of course rm67 themselves. it was a dope ending to a good night. all the elements were on stage when they debuted the 5th element.

A 92-year-old man who crashed into a Biscuits 'n' Gravy and More restaurant in Port Orange, Fla., and then proceeded to order breakfast Wednesday has been cited for reckless driving.

Police think Charles Pierce hit the gas instead of the brake when parking at the restaurant. Instead of panicking, Pierce got out of his car and placed his order.

Biscuits 'N' Gravy and More employee Ann Jewers said Pierce "sat down and he wanted breakfast" after crashing into the restaurant's front window.

A cook at the restaurant says that a customer had been sitting in the spot hit by Pierce's car, "but he paid his bill just five seconds or ten seconds before it happened. Thank god."

Pierce asked if anyone was injured. One person had a "very minor injury,"

"He come out of his car, no problem. He sat down at the table, has his breakfast, and God bless America, beautiful," the owner, Marino Segalas,.

Building officials said the crash caused no structural damage and the restaurant continues to operate. The damage is estimated at $25,000.

The former B2K member is currently cooling his heels in an L.A. jail after getting busted over the holiday weekend for some serious baby-mama drama.

Officer April Harding of the LAPD's Pacific Division tells E! News that the 24-year-old singer, whose real name is Jarell Damonte Houston, was collared Sunday at his home following a dustup with his fiancée and mother of his three children.

"A patrol unit was dispatched to investigate a domestic violence call," Harding said. "He was subsequently arrested and booked on suspicion of domestic assault, a felony."

The vocalist, who found fame with fellow B2Kers Omarion, Raz-B and Lil' Fizz on tracks like the Diddy-produced "Bump, Bump, Bump" and in 2004's hit dance movie You Got Served, is being held on $66,000 bail. J-Boog also has several warrants that had been issued against him for a series of driving offenses.
